Recycling again, "Glory Box" is the highest debut this week, this one comes from their debut album "Dummy", it's one of their most 'popular' songs. At 19, Live enters with "Century" a rocker number, and at 20, "What Would You Say" from their full length studio debut album. It featured a bad video with added 'what would you say, what would you say' a little repetitive.

The top debut soes to Robbie Williams with one of his strongest songs in his entire career, the song is "No Regrets" which enters at 13. Then, Massive Attack with guest vocalist Horace Andy debut at 17 with "Angel". Lucid also debuts, at 18, a dance song. And finally Eros Ramazzotti falls off the chart with his duet with Andrea Bocelli, but this week it's replaced by another duet, this time Joe Cocker, a pretty ballad.

El debut dominador which means the dominating debut (like they said on the World Chart show) was for Céline Dion with the title track from her newest french album, a really delicate and fragile ballad, one of the most beautiful songs in her catalog and it debuts as high as number 8. At 17 New Radicals, a new 'group' or something like that, you know, those kind of bbands where only the lead singer is known. Well, they (or him) did really good everywhere with this song "You Get What You Give", where they mention Hole, Hanson, Marilyn Manson and Beck, but the singer had some weird stance on stardom, so by the time they released a second single, he decided to dissolve the band. At 18, Dave Matthews Band with "Rapunzel" song that I paired with the intro to the album "Pantala Naga Pampa" for greater effect jajaja. I don't remember if it worked or not, but while I compile more charts, I will remember. And finally at the bottom, Portishead with another song from their eponymous album "Mourning Air" another song along the same lines of the rest of the songs on the album, a good song, but clearly not as good as let's say "Only You".

"Is This Desire?" is easily the best PJ Harvey album, one of the greatest alternative artists out there nowadays, and "The Wind" (debuting at 20) was the second single. A slow song with some mysterious sounds and great lyrics. Oh yeah, first chart of 1999!!

More Dave Matthews Band! They debut at 16 with "Crush", a wonderful song that was the 3rd single from "Before These Crowded Streets". A song that keeps you excited all the way, I don't know what it is, but even if the song is tight, there are some moments when you say "WOW! there they go again" and they keep rocking. The video was really great also, in black and white and Dave looks hot. Then, moving on, at 18, Chris Isaak. Ahhh, Chris, I love his music very much, but for some reason, his songs always fail to make an impact on my chart, with two exceptions: "King Without A Castle" (on 2006) and this one "Black Flowers". Well, maybe you can add also "Wicked Game" but since that song was on the chart when it wasn't weekly, it doesn't really reflect how long it was there for good. And finally at 19, a song that should have been the first single from "Gloria!". "Don't Let This Moment End" is really representative of the music on the album, but no, Gloria Estéfan decided to release first "Heaven's What I Feel" (with a baaaad video). Oh well.

On that Hora Prima show on MTV I was telling you about, they showed a short clip when DMB played for them "Dancing Nancies", and I loved it. Dave was thiner and lovely, and I had to get that song, it was such a jam! I went to Wal-Mart decided to buy whatever DMB cd I could get, and I found "Under The Table And Dreaming" so I took it home with me. And surprise! "Dancing Nancies" was on it. Around this time I was such a fan of them, and I still am, even if their last album "Stand Up" was horrible. Now, The Killers are my favorite band, but the future will be decided when DMB release a new album.
