19.- Paul Alan - Have A Little Hope (DEBUT)
20.- Goo Goo Dolls - Here Is Gone (DEBUT)

I love weeks like this. Full of debuts! The highest of them being a Kevin Max song called If I Could Make It Work In Life, which came out before Kevin became a solo artist. Then at 11, Audio Adrenaline, another christian artist, a good band, with a song that deserved to be a single, Lift. At 13, yet another christian artist, Steven Curtis Chapman with a larger than life song, it's really epic, Magnificent Obsession. At 15, another double song, two b sides from Stereophonics: Piano For A Stripper and Heart Of Gold. Which is funny, cause Tori is also in this same chart with her version of Heart of Gold. At 17, Semisonic with Act Naturally. They left the chart with El Matador but replaced their abscense with another wonderful song. At 18, yet another christian band, Third Day, with a nice song called When The Rain Comes. To this day, they haven't made an album as strong as Come Together where the song is included. And... yes, you guessed right, another christian artist debuts this week, this time it's the turn for Paul Alan. This guy released his album Falling Awake and left for many years, finally coming back in 2008. Have a Little Hope remains my favorite song by him. And finally at 20 Goo Goo Dolls with a nice song I would say, though nothing to write home about.

Two high debuts! At 7, the amazing and still to this day, best song Stereophonics have made, Mr Writer. First single from Just Enough Education To Perform. And at 11, Tori Amos with what could be her louder song to date, Heart Of Gold, a cover of Neil Young's original. Tori transformed it into a hard rock number and it works perfectly!

I have never been able to get into dEUS that much, but Nothing Really Ends is gorgeous, and it's addictive. As for Howie Day, I remember liking him before he became famous, so I am proud of that.

19.- Soulwax - Much Against Everyone's Advice
20.- Shawn Camp - Falling Never Felt So Good

Ice Queen is a fantastic song. Since then, I have listened songs with climaxes more urgent but still this song remains one of the most intense in its genre at least. And just for kicks, these were the songs that were being considered for debuting: Chris Isaak - Worked It Out Wrong / Natalie Imbruglia - Satellite / Robbie Williams - Mr Bojangles / Sting - Until / Shelby Lynne - Killin' Kind / Duncan Sheik - Blasphemous Rumours / Jars Of Clay - The Widowing Field / Steve Wariner - Katie Wants A Fast One /

19.- Newsboys - Who?
20.- Shawn Camp - Falling Never Felt So Good (DEBUT)

Oh, I remember having a slow internet connection and trying to watch Gary Allan's The One video, I managed to get it incomplete, but I loved it. Cher? Well, the song is a bit catchy, so I guess that made me debut her. And the Shawn Camp is a country song that I don't have anymore, and honestly, don't remember it.

REM debuts with what is possibly their best song. And I was kinda fond of DC Talk around this time, so I had to debut Toby Mac as well, those two songs are still good.

20.- Dave Matthews Band - Fool To Think

Cocoon is a wonderful song, but still no wonder it didn't go anywhere. But kudos to Björk for releasing such a song as a single. Also, Soulwax was new to me at the time, and Much Against Everyone's Advice was a cool song to chart. And well, we all make mistakes, that Girlfriend song is not awful, but didn't deserve a spot in my top 20.

Jonathan Wilkes had a bromance with Robbie Williams back then, before bromances acquired a name jajajaja. That was what made me notice Jonathan, nice song. And the christian rock band Third Day debuts with their rocking song 40 Days, I still like to play it and rock out!

The Good Friday Experiment song, I actually found randomly in some forum. I don't really know anything about it, just that it was a cool song and that's it. In 19, Eros Ramazzotti debuts with a pretty ballad that i think was the final single from his Stile Libero album. And at 20, a laughable song by Robbie teaming up with actress Nicole Kidman. This was the beginning of the end for Robbie and his music.
