Sweetbox!! As far as I know, there is another Sweetbox in Japan, that I haven't bothered to listen to. Anyway, this Sweetbox was a woman and if memory serves right, the song "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" had a sample from a classical piece... Mozart? Bach? I don't remember, but it was cute.

Fiona Apple enters with one of the best songs on her debut album, "Slow Like Honey". Now, i think that album is close to bad, I never play it, but when I listen to a few songs, I am reminded why i liked it at first. Trisha Yearwood arrives at 18 with "How Do I Live?" and Björk debuts at 20 with another song that did bad from her debut album.

More Matchbox 20. And Meredith Brooks again?? well, at least it's her best song. And finally at 20, another collaboration that hinted at how urban Mariah Carey was gonna get some years later, so sad.

19.- Björk - Come To Me
20.- Sugar Ray - RPM (DEBUT)

"RPM" is better than "Fly" (both by Sugar Ray), so it's strange it wasn't a bigger hit, in fact, it flopped, but it's cool to me.

20.- Fiona Apple - Criminal (DEBUT)

Portishead go all the way and debut at 9 with one of their sharpest songs "All Mine". I definitely cannot understand people (like, practically all the world) who prefer "Dummy" over the darker "Portishead", but whatever. At 19, a song that later became famous thanks to the tv show Dawson's Creek, it's Paula Cole with "I Don't Want To Wait", which had a great and sad video. And finally at 20, Fiona Aple enters with "Criminal"
