20.- LeeAnn Womack - Ashes By Now

301 charts is not as sweet as 300, but I kept going! :P As popular as Björk was (at the time in my chart) and would continue to be for some time, this is still, the last number one she achieved. The debut was from Toby Keith, this is one of the songs my cousin recorded for me in a cassette back in the day, cause I was so much into country, and I needed to hear more. I no longer like Toby, but I still like this song, maybe it's the memories contained in it :)

20.- Tori Amos - Carnival (DEBUT)

300 charts!! *celebrates* Well, the celebration was like 10 years ago, when this happened jajajaja. Only one debut, by the awesome Tori. I remember I wanted to buy the soundtrack to Mission Impossible 2, cause "Carnival" was in it. Thankfully I didn't cause I wouldn't have liked it. The song itself was different than the rest of the song, and even if it's a cover, Tori has proven time and time again she is a master of improving old songs.

20.- Semisonic - Brand New Baby (DEBUT)

Westlife says goodbye to the chart and at the same time, 3 other songs by them debut :D Also debuting, the song that meant the beginning of the end for Dave Matthews Band. Yeah, they never made masterpieces like BTCS anymore. I do like the album "Everyday" and "Busted Stuff", but "Stand Up" and "Big Whiskey & The GrooGrux King" were atrocious sadly. And coming at 20, the debut of Semisonic's "Brand New Baby". Such a catchy song. Oh and by the way, "It's Your Song" which peaks at number one this week, was there thanks to the live album Double Live, and it had many covers, so I picked one at random.

19.- Robbie Williams - Better Man
20.- Westlife - My Love

I suppose it was around this time I bought the Garth Brooks first Limited Series box set. "This Ain't Tennessee" is still a gorgeous song and wish he would perform it live. Fiona scores her first and only number one in my chart so far with "I Know". After that album ("When The Pawn") she has only recorded one more and it sucked jajajajaja.

20.- Eros Ramazzotti - Fuoco Nel Fuoco (DEBUT)

Ahhh Dancer In The Dark! Great movie with Björk, and from that movie came out an EP as a soundtrack for the movie called Selmasongs. The first and only single was "I've Seen It All" which is a collaboration with Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke. To this day, I love the song. Also continuing with my obsession with country was LeeAnn Womack debuting with a song that wasn't so country and had a funny video. And finally at 20, Eros enters with Fuoco Nel Fuoco.

To this day, Kid A remains my favorite Radiohead album, cause to be honest I am not crazy about them like many music lovers. And I guess the song that debuts this week is still my favorite from them, "How To Disappear Completely". Also debuting, Christina Aguilera with what I recall to be her second single from her first and so far, only spanish album.

Two debuts, Garth and 3EB. I was charting "It's Your Song" cause I got to know it on the album Double Live in its live incarnation. However, if anyone knows where the studio version comes from, let me know, I have it, but don't know where was it included originally.

Only one new song, "Supreme" by Robbie. Sometimes I think this is his best song, and it's too bad that he only went downhill from here.

The Chris Gaines album should have been a hit, if the singles would have been different. A song like "It Don't Matter To The Sun" would have still had appeal for the country music lovers. Too bad people just laughed. And Fiona Apple when she used to be great made her song "I Know" one of her career highlights.

First chart of 2001! I was still mining the debut album of Westlife as you can see. And Robbie also enters with a beautiful ballad called "Better Man". The songs that were about to debut or the "On the horizon" were: Kenny Chesney with "Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me", Fiona Apple with "I Know", OBK with two songs "Falsa Moral" and "Nada Queda Ya", Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue with "Kids", Eros Ramazzotti with "Fuoco Nel Fuoco", Westlife with "My Love" and Bon with "Boys".
